Who We Are
When it comes to recovering from substance abuse, those who choose to embark on the journey into a substance free way of life may often be presented with many difficulties and challenges. People, places, and things can be the difference between life and death. Finding a place to live that’s in good condition, and in a good area with people who are drug-free and trying to better their lives, is much harder than it sounds. Because addiction often leaves a trail of disaster in the life of the individual it can be difficult to find quality housing that will set them up for long-term success.
As someone who has taken the journey into recovery Myself, I know how hard it can be to stay the course. I should not be alive today but by the grace of God. And the gift of recovery, I am here today. Safe haven sober living provides transitional recovery housing in the Longwood, Florida area. Renovated with a gym, full kitchen, large common area, pool, and fire pit outback. We are close to many recovery meetings such as AA, NA, and Celebrate Recovery. It is the ideal atmosphere for those Recovering From addiction and alcoholism.
We require our clients to have 30 days substance-free before residency that they maintain employment, attend recovery based meetings, and work a program of recovery. We are not a rehabilitation center, but are able to offer experience, strength, hope to those coming from treatment and working their way back into society as productive, helpful, and purposeful members of the community. If you or someone you know seems like a good fit for safe haven we would love to help. Feel free to call us at (407) 591-2955 or email us at Safe haven recovery safehavenrecoveryhouse@gmail.com.
